NAV is designed to help businesses with a strong foundation scale their concept and start operating at the next level.

Through NAV, ventures experience a unique team-based approach to mentorship that is principled and trained by the MIT Venture Mentoring Service. Beyond their curated team of mentors, ventures also have access to NAV Office Hours with Mentor Specialists to get to the root of specific challenges.

Through our network of experienced mentors, ventures will hear varying perspectives and learn how to perfect their product, identify markets, seek funding, build business organizations, & grow as strong entrepreneurial leaders.

What is NAV?

Launched in 2019, the North Atlanta Venture Mentoring Service (NAV) offers free, team-based mentorship to ventures looking to scale & grow.

NAV is the 90th sister program of the MIT Venture Mentoring Service and the first of its kind in Georgia.

NAV is a program of Startup Cherokee – where innovative ideas get a fresh start. Startup Cherokee is a vibrant and energizing hub for trailblazing startups and bold entrepreneurs, powered by the Cherokee Office of Economic Development.

The MIT Venture Mentoring Service model offers a unique team-based approach to mentorship.

Both ventures and mentors apply and go through an interview and on-boarding process to ensure the integrity and fit of program participants.

Accepted ventures pitch to the NAV mentors to be matched with a carefully curated team whose expertise fit the venture’s areas of need, while fulfilling the mentor’s interests.
